CONCORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 6-year-old was rushed to a Concord hospital after being pulled from Walden Pond Monday afternoon.
Authorities pulled the boy from the pond at about 2:26 p.m. and began performing CPR because the child was not breathing.
The boy responded to the CPR and was conscious while being transported to Emerson Hospital.
Walden Pond is a state reservation known as the site of Henry David Thoreau's famous cabin in the woods.
