Boxer puppy stolen from Charlton neighborhood

CHARLTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Charlton police are asking for the public's help in finding a 12-week-old dog believed to have been stolen.

Investigators say the female Boxer, Franki, was taken from the area of Stafford Street and Smith Road at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Witnesses reported seeing a white car, possibly a Blazer, with a male driver and female passenger pull up to the dog. They said the passenger got out of the car and whistled for the dog to come to her. She then put the dog into the car and they drove off toward Leicester.

Franki was wearing a purple collar at the time. She is described as a white dog with a black nose.

Anyone with information about Franki's whereabouts is asked to call Charlton police at 508-248-2250.
