Boston Univ. police search for armed robbery suspects

BROOKLINE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston University Police Department is searching for three suspects who reportedly robbed three people at gunpoint at the intersection of Egmont Street and St. Paul Street around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to police, three black males approached the victims and displayed a handgun. One of the victims surrendered a black backpack, and the suspects fled up Egmont Street to Pleasant Street and Commonwealth Avenue, reports Wicked Local – Brookline.

A similar incident occurred near the intersection of Hamilton Road and Thorndike Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday. Two men approached two Boston University students and displayed a semiautomatic handgun. The victims surrendered a wallet and an iPhone, as well as some cash.
