• Boston teen held without bail in Oct. 1 murder case

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A Boston teen was ordered held without bail on Wednesday for his alleged role in the murder of 17-year-old Andre Matthew.

In addition to murder charges, Rashawn Clark, 17, of Roxbury, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm, and unlawfully discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.

Investigators allege that Clark specifically sought out Matthew with the intent to shoot him on Oct. 1.

Prosecutors claim cell tower records, surveillance footage, and other evidence prove that Clark was in the area helping others find Matthew. They claim he shot Matthew once in the head before fleeing. Witnesses reportedly identified Clark as the one suspect in the group who fled the scene with a gun in his hand.

Matthew was transported to Boston Medical Center after the shooting where he succumbed to his injuries.

Clark is scheduled to be back in court on Dec. 27.
