Boston slayings jurors wrap up for the week

BOSTON (AP) — The jury in the retrial of a Boston man charged with fatally shooting four people and leaving a fifth paralyzed during a drug-related robbery has wrapped up for the week after one juror fell ill.

The jury is expected to resume deliberating Monday after failing to reach a verdict on Friday.

Dwayne Moore is charged with killing three adults and a toddler in the city's Mattapan neighborhood in September 2010. His first trial ended in a hung jury. A second suspect was acquitted.

Moore's lawyer has attacked the prosecution's star witness, alleging he lied to save himself.

The prosecutor said the testimony of more than 40 witnesses proves Moore's guilt.

The jurors are from Worcester County because the defense said publicity made it hard to get an impartial Boston jury.
