BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston School Committee unanimously accepted a policy to distribute condoms at all high schools in the system.
Condoms had already been offered for free at 19 of the 23 high schools in the system.
The new policy which was proposed in May will make condoms available for all students in their high school's front office; however, it does come with a catch.
The students will have to sit down with a counselor and discuss practicing safe sex.
Parents are also allowed the right to exempt their child from the policy.
