Boston police respond to three separate shootings overnight

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police responded to three separate shootings in different neighborhoods in the span of just a few hours late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Just before 10:30 p.m., officers responded to 72 School Street in Jamaica Plain where a man had been shot. He was transported to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. There was no word Sunday morning on his condition.

At 1:28 a.m. Sunday, police officers responded to 19 Burrell St. in Roxbury where they found a man shot. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Boston Medical Center to be treated. There was no update on his condition late Sunday morning.

Ar around 5:22 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a shooting at 72 Lawrence Ave. in Dorchester. Upon arrival, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds behind the building. They are both believed to be in their 20s.

One of those victims was transported to Brigham & Women's Hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The other victim was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he remained in stable condition Sunday afternoon.

In that incident, police officers also recovered two guns nearby.
