Boston police investigate 5 Dunkin' Donuts robberies

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are asking for the public's help in solving five robberies at Dunkin' Donuts in Boston.

Boston police said a man with a knife hit the shop on VFW Parkway Tuesday night. He had his face covered up, took money from the register and ran off.

Investigators say in all five cases, which took place at Dunkin' Donuts shops on the VFW Parkway and Washington Street, the suspect was masked. He is described as a man between the ages of 19 and 30 who is about 5'5" to 5'7" tall. In one case, witnesses reported seeing the suspect flee in what appeared to be a green Volvo station wagon.

In three cases, including Tuesday's robbery, the suspect brandished a knife, while in two others he brandished a firearm.

Boston police released video of the Jul 3 incident Wednesday. They are asking anyone with information to contact them.
