Boston Parks and Rec snowplow recovered after being stolen

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police have recovered a stolen Boston Parks and Recreation snow plow truck one day after it went missing.

The truck was recovered on Friday morning after being stolen from a Dorchester lot early Thursday morning.

According to police, a Chevrolet truck with a plow on the front and a sander on the back was reported stolen around 1 a.m. from a Boston Parks and Recreation lot located at 75 American Legion Highway.

An employee told police that around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, he was notified by a park ranger that a snowplow truck was driving erratically in the parking lot at 75 American Legion Highway. The employee performed an inventory check and discovered a truck was missing.
