Boston bank robber appeared to be pregnant

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Boston police are on the lookout for a woman who robbed a city bank this week who appeared to be pregnant in surveillance video.

Police say the woman entered a Citizens Bank on Monday afternoon and gave the teller a note saying she had a gun and wanted all the money in the cash drawer.

She fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a white woman with black hair, about 5-foot-4. She was wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored shirt and light blue pants.

In one side view still shot released by Boston police, the woman appeared to be pregnant, although police said she could have been in disguise.

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the woman. If you recognize her, call the Boston Police Department at 617-343-4470 or text the word "TIP" to crime.

And it looks like another robber has struck again. A man fitting the description of the bearded bandit robbed a TD Bank in Barrington, R.I., Tuesday, making this his seventh hold up in seven months.
    
Police say he robbed his first bank in Seekonk, Mass., back in February and has since robbed five others in Rhode Island. Police say that beard and his hair may be fake.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
