Boston author to review surveillance video for missing dog

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Boston author may be one step closer to solving the disappearance of his dog.

Dennis Lehane told the Boston Herald he's convinced a Brighton McDonald's manager to look over surveillance video for his dog, Tessa.

Lehane believes she was lured into a car at the drive-thru on Christmas Eve. He says that's the last place his beagle was seen.

The "Gone Baby Gone" author told the paper he expects to hear from that restaurant manager at noon Thursday. He's offered to name a character in his next book after the person who helps find his dog.
