Bombing suspect's probable cause hearing set for July 10

(MyFoxBoston.com) – The probable cause hearing for surviving Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been set for July 10 at 11 a.m.

The 19-year-old bombing suspect's hearing was originally scheduled to take place on May 30. Both prosecutors and Tsarnaev's attorneys requested more time citing the "need for adequate time to obtain and review evidence."

Tsarnaev is charged with using a weapon of mass destruction resulting in death and malicious destruction of property resulting in death. He is being held at FMC Devens.

The alleged mastermind of the bombings, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, died on April 18 as a result of injuries sustained in a shootout with police and after being hit by a car driven by his younger brother.
