Body found in NH belongs to missing woman, death ruled a homicide

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- New Hampshire law enforcement officials announced Sunday that the female remains found in Unity, N.H. belong to a missing 42-year-old woman from Charlestown, N.H.

Following an autopsy, the medical examiner was able to identify the body as Kelly Robarge from her dental records and a distinctive tattoo.

The medical examiner also deemed Robarge's death a homicide, but did not release the exact cause of death.

Robarge was last seen late in the morning on June 27. She had not been seen or heard from since and her family members had not been able to contact her.

Shortly after she was reported missing investigators deemed Robarge's disappearance suspicious. They announced on June 28 that Robarge may have suffered "significant physical harm or death."

The remains were discovered in Unity Saturday.

An investigation into Robarge's death is ongoing.
