Body discovered in Norwell marsh

NORWELL, Mass. – Police in Norwell  are investigating after a body was discovered in the marsh near South Street.

Police were called to the end of the street around 4:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a body in the water.
After investigating, officers recovered the body around 7:30 p.m.

According to Norwell Police Chief Ted Ross, there does not appear to be any foul play, however the death remains under investigation.

Ross said the identity of the body will not be released until the family has been notified.
