• Bird crashes through window on Cape Air flight


    A bird crashed through the window of a Cape Air flight from Hyannis to Nantucket Wednesday morning.

    According to the Cape Cod Times, the bird partially went through the window and bloodied some passengers, pilot and copilot. Photos obtained by Fox 25's Ted Daniel showed  blood all over the interior of the plane. (Photo 1 | Photo 2 Warning: Images may be disturbing to some viewers.)

    The incident happened at about 9 a.m. The plane was able to land safely.

    The website reported that the co-pilot suffered a scratch from some falling glass, but no other injuries were reported. The bird was killed.
