BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Despite an impending snowstorm, swimsuit-clad runners took to the streets of Boston's Back Bay for a good cause on Sunday.
The Play Ball! Foundation's annual "Speedo Run" drew about 700 runners in red Speedos, bikinis and Swimsuits.
The run started at the Lir and Whiskey's Smokehouse and continued up Boylston Street.
Organizers say the event is inspired by Santa Claus' generous nature and love of cold weather.
