Beverly teen makes it to Idol's top 20

BEVERLY (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Beverly High School Class of 2012 graduate is a top 20 finalist on hit FOX show "American Idol."

Angela "Angie" Miller was applauded for her performance of "nobody's perfect" on Wednesday night. The judges were still talking about the 18-year-old's original performance of "you set me free" last week.

Angie spoke with FOX 25 shortly after Wednesday night's show aired.

"I always dreamed for it," the teen gushed. "I always hoped and dreamed that this would happen. Now it's no longer a dream. It's a reality, you know. So it's like, it feels amazing. I'm so overwhelmed."

Angie tells FOX 25 she loves hearing from her fans on Twitter. Follow her exciting road to stardom: @angiekmiller.
