Beverly home catches fire after vehicles burn in driveway

BEVERLY, Mass. — Crews worked to extinguish a large fire at a home in Beverly early Wednesday.

The fire broke out after vehicles in the driveway of an Arrowhead Lane home spread to the structure, according to investigators.

“That’s where we’re going to zero in on in the beginning, but we’ll have to go through the whole interior and up into the attic just to follow it down and find out exactly where it started,” Beverly fire Chief Paul Cotter said.

Residents of the home didn’t want to speak on camera, but they told a Boston 25 News crew that everyone inside the home when the fire started were able to make it out safely, and no injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
