(MyFoxBoston.com) --  Investigators have identified "Baby Doe", the little girl found on Deer Island in June.

The District Attorney has identified the girl as Bella Neveah Amoroso Bond. Her mother has been identified as Rachelle Bond. The boyfriend of Bella's mother, Michael McCarthy, has been charged with Bella's murder. Bella's mother has been charged with accessory after the fact.

The DA said that more information about how Bella died would be released in court on Monday.

A source tells FOX25 News that Bond came into Bella's room and allegedly saw McCarthy punching her because he believed Bella was possessed. The source also says they allegedly kept the girl's body in a fridge for about a month before ultimately disposing of it.

A search warrant was issued for Bond's apartment on Maxwell Street in Dorchester Thursday night. A source told FOX25 that the warrant stemmed from a tip into the Boston Police Homicide Unit.

FOX25 spoke to neighbors of Bond, who said that Bella hadn't been seen in months.

DeLeo added that McCarthy has drug problems and is at Beth Israel Hospital.

Gov. Baker said earlier on Friday that Bond was investigated by the Department of Children and Families. The case was closed in 2013.

Bond also had previous contact with police. According to court paperwork she was arrested in 2010 for prostitution.

Bond also had other children, her parental rights to two of them were terminated between 2001 and 2006.
