Bear photographed leaning against door of East Brookfield home

EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- East Brookfield police posted a photo on Facebook that appears to show a black bear trying to enter a home.

Police say the photo was taken Wednesday morning at a home near Podunk Road. The police department also posted video of a black bear eating from a bird feeder on Howe Street.

On Sunday, a black bear was spotted near Route 31 in Spencer.

Experts recommend residents remove bird feeders from their yards for the entire summer as they can attract bears.
