Barn destroyed in Litchfield, N.H. fire

LITCHFIELD, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A barn suffered heavy damage after catching fire in Litchfield, N.H. Friday.

The fire broke out at the barn at 144 Charles Bancroft morning late Friday morning and spread to three alarms.

When crews arrived they found heavy flames shooting from the side of the barn.

Video from Skyfox showed the roof of the building had collapsed. Some pieces of farm equipment, including a tractor, were in the barn at the time of the fire. They appeared to have been destroyed.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
