Auditions for 'So You Think You Can Dance' held in Boston

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Judges for hit FOX show "So You Think You Can Dance" visited Boston on Saturday in hopes of finding some east coast talent.

Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer and judge on the show, said Saturday was his second time in Boston. The first time was as executive producer of American Idol.

"It's always great to be back in a city that's really passionate and cares about its town and that's certainly true of Boston," says Nigel.

Nigel also added that Boston's group of dancers were the most talented they've seen at this point in their season 10 search, namely the ballroom dancers. He says he wouldn't be surprised if a couple of this season's top 20 contestants were from the Boston audition.

The judges pointed out the importance of Boston's audition since it is the only one being held on the east coast.

The final two auditions are scheduled for March 14 in Memphis, TN and March 22 in Los Angeles, CA.
