Auction for convicted mobster Whitey Bulger's possesions posted online

BOSTON — Want to buy some of James 'Whitey' Bulger's things? Now's your chance.

The mobster's belongings confiscated from Bulger's Santa Monica apartment by the federal government are set to go up for auction Saturday, June 25.

Items listed will be up for auction and all proceeds will go to raise money for the families of people who were killed or extorted by the convicted Boston gangster.

Bulger, now 86, spent 16 years on the run before he stood trial in 2013. He is now serving a life sentence after being convicted of a litany of crimes, including participating in 11 murders while leading a notorious gang.

The items include a wooden crucifix starting at $10, a military shovel starting at $15 and a boxing mannequin starting at $85.

Among the items is an assortment of rings and diamonds, which include the replica 1986 Canadiens Stanley Cup Champions ring -- which starts at $530.
