‘Arrested Development’ returns to Netflix this May

(MyFoxBoston.com) - Netflix confirmed Thursday that the new season of the classic TV show "Arrested Development" will be released May 26.

The cast features big names including Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia deRossi, Will Arnett and Jeffrey Tambor, who reunited for another season with 15 episodes.

The cult comedy was canceled after a three-season run on Fox from 2003 to 2006.

All 15 episodes will be released at 12:01 a.m. Each installment focuses on a particular character with other characters making appearances in that episode.

There has been long-rumored talk about a movie and series. Creator Mitchel Hurwitz has said this "anthology of episodes" will act as a prequel.
