Arlington Police probe 30 years of alleged sexual abuse at Boys and Girls Club

ARLINGTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Arlington Police are looking into allegations of sexual assault at the town's Boys and Girls Club.

The Boys and Girls Club announced on Thursday that they concluded an investigation into the allegations of children being sexually abused at the club during the 1970s and 1990s. They say the employee who was accused in these acts died over 10 years ago.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office and Arlington Police claim there are presently no prosecutable crimes based on the information given to them by the club. However, Arlington Police are conducting a follow-up inquiry based on the club's findings.

Anyone with information regarding possible sexual abuse is asked to contact the Middlesex District Attorney's Child Abuse Unit at 781-897-8400 and the Arlington Police Department at 781-643-1212.
