• Angry mob visits Texans QB Matt Schaub's home

HOUSTON, TX (MyFoxBoston.com) -- NFL officials are investigating reports of an angry mob showing up at Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub's home.

ESPN reports NFL security contacted the Texans and Houston police regarding the incident.

According to FOX 26 in Houston, the crowd showed up at Schaub's home and berated the struggling quarterback. The crowd reportedly took photos of his family and threatened to post them on social media.

The mob left before police arrived.

A reporter for Sports Radio 610 tells FOX 26 many believe the crowd found Schaub's address from a real estate ad boasting about living "three doors down from an NFL player."

Although Schaub was pulled from Sunday's game against the 49ers, ESPN reports he remains the starter for this Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
