Andover woman accused of ramming three police cruisers in Maine

SACO, Maine (AP) -- An Andover woman is facing charges in Maine after allegedly ramming three police cruisers with her car.

Forty-three-year-old Monique Vallee is charged with multiple counts of aggravated reckless conduct, assault on an officer and criminal mischief.

Saco Deputy Police Chief Jeff Holland tells the Portland Press Herald the incident began about 1 a.m. Monday when police were alerted to a car going south in the northbound lanes of the Maine Turnpike.

Holland says Vallee drove from the turnpike onto Interstate 195 in Saco, where she twice put her car into reverse and rammed a police car before getting back onto the turnpike and ramming two more cruisers. Nobody was seriously injured.

Jail officials said they didn't know if Vallee had an attorney.
