The house was last sold in 2010.

In 1974, it was the scene of a gruesome murder.

Ronald DeFeo killed his family - both parents, his brothers and sisters - as they slept in the early morning of Nov. 13, according to Biography.com.

He shot them in their beds, all within 15 minutes, before showering and getting dressed for work. On his way, he dumped his bloody clothing and the gun in a storm drain. When he got to his family's car dealership, he called home pretending to find out why his father didn't show up for work.  At noon, he left his job and spent the day with friends. Finally, at 6 p.m., he called a friend saying that someone broke into the family home, killing everyone.

DeFeo eventually confessed to the murders, telling police, "Once I started I just couldn't stop. It went so fast."

He was put on trial in Oct. 1975 and found guilty on six counts of second-degree murder on Nov. 21, 1974, sentenced to six consecutive life sentences. He remains in jail.

The first family who lived in the home after the murders, the Lutz family, said they encountered poltergeists in the home. They lived there only 28 days in 1975, the Daily Mail reported.

His mother saw glowing red eyes. His stepfather was awakened by strange noises at the time the murders happened. The family's daughter had a strange imaginary friend.

There were claims of strange smells, drafts and objects moving on their own.

A priest who visited the house said he heard someone telling him to "Get out."

If a murder scene or the possibility of paranormal happenings doesn't faze you, the house could be yours.

But there's a catch, you must have proof of funds to even get an appointment to see the house.
