AMC debuts trailer for third season of 'Walking Dead' at Comic-Con

AMC unleashed a preview for the third season of its hit show, "The Walking Dead" at the San Diego Comic-Con. (Click here to watch the trailer.)

The more than four-minute trailer shows the main cast dealing with the aftermath of the  Farmhouse from the second season and gives a glimpse into the apparent setting for the third season of the thriller, The Prison.

There is also an extensive look at the mysterious sword-wielding, zombie-hostage-taking, character Michonne, who made a quick appearance in the second season's finale.

Another character given extensive trailer time is the Governor, who played a critical role in "The Walking Dead" comic book series.

There is also spoilerish appearance by a fan favorite character at the very end of the trailer.
