Allston man arrested after running onto MBTA tracks

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- After the Red Sox won the World Series Wednesday night, a 23-year-old Allston man ran into the MBTA tracks, from the Boston University area to Kenmore Station, delaying train service.

At 11:30 p.m., William Goodhue ran from the Blandford Street station through the tunnel all the way to Kenmore. MBTA Transit Police followed Goodhue and arrested him for trespassing. Green line train service was held while officers pursued Goodhue.

He was transported to Transit Police headquarters and will be arraigned in Roxbury District court on Thursday.
