Massachusetts murder suspect added to 'most wanted' list

BOSTON — It's been nearly five years since two Dorchester women were killed execution style in their apartment  and U.S. Marshals are on the hunt for the suspect.

"The Marshals Service is committed to assisting the Boston Police Department in locating and apprehending Jean Janvier to open the doors of justice for the Emile family," said U.S. Marshal John Gibbons.

Boston Police allege that Jean Weevens Janvier, 34, killed sisters Stephanie and Judith Emilie on Nov. 14, 2011, leaving a 2-year-old toddler alive, but alone with their bodies.

Janvier is facing two counts of first degree murder, two counts of armed assault in a dwelling and carrying a firearm without a license.

Authorities believe Janvier fled the state shortly after the murders, but his current whereabouts are unknown. He is considered armed and dangerous.

U.S. Marshals describe him as 6-foot-1, weighing about 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was born in Haiti, but is now a U.S. citizen.

A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information leading to Janvier's arrest.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102 or email usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.
