All clear at Downtown Crossing after officials inspect suspicious package

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- MBTA officials tell FOX 25 the all clear has been given at the Downtown Crossing MBTA Station after a suspicious package was found Wednesday morning.

An MBTA spokesperson told FOX 25 Orange Line service was suspended while police check out a box that a man left behind. The all clear was given after investigators determined the box did not pose a threat and regular MBTA service resumed by 9:40 a.m.

Transit Police have a man accused of making a threat in custody.
