HOOKSETT, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) â An aggressive coyote was seen in Hooksett, N.H. Tuesday.
At about 3:48 a.m., an officer checking on a business at 193 Londonderry Turnpike saw what he believed to be a coyote behind the building, officials say.
The two separated briefly, but then the coyote turned toward the officer, growled at him, and advanced toward him quickly. The officer fired a shot into the woods to stop the coyote, who then ran off.
Anyone who sees an aggressive coyote should contact your local police department.
