Aaron Hernandez to be arraigned next Friday

FALL RIVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is scheduled to be arraigned next Friday, Bristol County District Attorney C. Samuel Sutter's office has announced.

Hernandez will appear in Fall River Superior Court at 2 p.m.

Hernandez was indicted last Thursday on first-degree murder and weapons charges in the death of his friend, Odin Lloyd, whose bullet-riddled body was found in an industrial park about a mile from the ex-player's North Attleborough home.

The six-count grand jury indictment charges Hernandez with killing the 27-year-old Lloyd, a semi-professional football player from Boston who was dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend.

Hernandez's lawyers say they are confident their client will be exonerated.

Hernandez is being held without bail at a county jail.
