$8K worth of drugs found in man's storage unit, police say

BEVERLY, Mass. — A Beverly man is facing charges after police said they found $8,000 worth of drugs in his storage unit.

Officers told The Gloucester Times that Leonardo Reyes had heroin and cocaine inside a unit at the Cape Ann Storage in Manchester-by-the-Sea.

They said they also found a digital scales, plastic bags and other drug paraphernalia.

Police said they found the drugs while carrying out random unit checks following reports of suspicious activity.
