GUILFORD, VT (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Seven Vermont firefighters were injured by lightning Wednesday.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon on East Mountain Road in Guilford. According to the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department, the firefighters were very close to the strike while battling a fire there.
They were taken to the hospital for evaluation with minor injuries, officials say.
