BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The MBTA says the $4,000 flute mistakenly left behind by an MBTA passenger and picked up by a man has been reunited with its owner.
The flute had been placed on a bench at the Park Street station on March 25 by a Red Line passenger and forgotten. Surveillance video then showed a man picking up the case from a bench and walking away with it.
MBTA announced on their Twitter page Thursday that the flute was turned over to police by someone who wishes to remain anonymous.
