4 men arrested in several Mass. home break-ins

WINCHESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police have arrested four men in connection with several Massachusetts home break-ins.

Winchester police said they have been working with authorities in Medford, Arlington, Revere, Saugus, Danvers, Malden, Melrose, Winthrop, Chelsea, Everett and Woburn over the last several weeks. Eric Cuppernell and Michael Sullivan Jr., both of Saugus; and James Marino and Michael Brancato, both of Medford, were taken into custody.

Police searched a residence in Saugus and a hotel on Route 1, where dozens of stolen property was recovered. Police hope it can be returned to its owners.

The suspects were highly organized, according to police, using different cars, police scanners, lookouts and communication as part of their operation.

Police say additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
