FALMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Four teens have been arrested in connection with a home invasion that occurred on Sandcastle Drive in East Falmouth Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the home at about 6:15 a.m. after the occupants reported three masked men, one armed with a rifle and another armed with a stun gun, had entered their home and stole several items. The victims told police the suspects had already fled the scene in a car.
Police said the victims were not harmed.
Following an investigation, police executed a search warrant at a home on Old Barnstable Road and recovered all the stolen property, including televisions, jewelry, a DVD player, phone, and alcohol, except for the cash. Police also recovered a .22 caliber rifle and a stun gun, both of which are believed to have been used during the alleged home invasion.
Michael Fernandes and Elijan Smith, both 18 and East Falmouth residents, were arrested and charged with home invasion. A 16-year-old North Falmouth resident was also charged with home invasion.
Kayla Pina, 18, of East Falmouth, was also arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.
A fifth suspect, 17-year-old Nicholas Licciardi, of East Falmouth, is also being sought on an arrest warrant for home invasion.
