GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Gwinnett County, Georgia, say four young children and an adult man were found brutally stabbed to death inside a home early Thursday morning.
One child, police said, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

WSB-TV reported that officers found the victims inside a home east of Atlanta in a town called Loganville.
A woman, who is described as the mother of the children, has been detained.

Police told WSB-TV that “specifics on the ages of the children or a motive for this horrendous crime is still unknown.”
No other information was immediately released.
