3 seriously injured after head-on collision in Nashua, NH

NASHUA, N.H. — Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a car wreck in Nashua, New Hampshire.

According to police, two cars collided head on shortly before 3 a.m. while driving down the Everett Turnpike between exits one and two.

Police say one of the drivers was headed the wrong way in the northbound lanes.

All three people had to be cut from the vehicles because the cars were so badly damaged.

The highway was shut down as two medflight helicopters airlifted two women to Tufts Medical Center and UMass Medical Center. A man was taken to Lahey Clinic.
