State Police tell Boston 25 News only one vehicle was involved in the crash.
According to the Warren Police Department, all three people who died were students at the Quaboag Regional High School, two were females and one was a male.
“We have plans for these kinds of thing, you just hope you never have to implement them,” West Brookfield Police Chief Tom O’Donnell said.“I have two kids who go to school here so yeah it hits a little close to home.”
Police say the car was heading south when it went off the road, hit a tree and rolled over.
"I am aware of an accident involving 3 Quaboag High School Students. I am in constant communication with the state and local police departments," Quaboag Superintendent Brett Kustigian said.
The victims' names have not yet been released, but the school said there will be counselors on hand for students and staff who need them Wednesday.
