3 arrests in Mass. investigation of prostitution

BOSTON (AP) - State and federal authorities say they have arrested the co-owners of two Boston-area massage parlors, and a third person, in an investigation of sex trafficking and prostitution.

The massage parlors are the Sun Spa, also known as the Spa Studio, in Wellesley, and Bodywork in Revere. Co-owners 37-year-old Zhen Lai of Quincy and 55-year-old Joseph Girouard are to be arraigned Friday on charges of sex trafficking and keeping a house of prostitution.

The Attorney General's office said 49-year-old Wenjie Dong of Malden, was arrested Thursday night and faces arraignment Friday on the same charges.

It's not immediately known who is representing them.

Authorities said the massage parlors allegedly offered sex for cash disguised as tips, and advertised on websites known to advertise prostitution. They said search warrants were served in several Massachusetts locations and in Manchester, N.H.
