3 arrested in NH home invasion

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Three people have been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in the New Hampshire city of Nashua.

Police responded to an apartment on Dec. 27 where two people reported they had been robbed and assaulted.

Police say one of the victims had been hit in the head with a piece of polyvinyl chloride pipe and a second victim had minor injuries from being slashed with a knife.

Police have arrested 21-year-old Cassandra Gurley, 18-year-old Richard Gurley and 25-year-old Matthew Escamilla on burglary and robbery charges. They were being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

It was not immediately known if they were being represented by lawyers.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
