OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok. - A little boy finishing some tough cancer treatments in Oklahoma City got a heartwarming surprise earlier this week.
Two-year-old Jase is battling a rare form of cancer and loves firefighters, so his family decided to surprise him.
An Oklahoma City fire truck met him outside the hospital after the treatment and took him back to the station.
Jase was smiling the entire time and asking all sorts of questions.
“You have no idea the joy on his face. There’s been so much hurt on his face and pain lately that seeing him happy, he needed it, he deserved it, we all did,” Jase’s mother said.
Firefighters said they got just as much out of the experience, if not more, than Jase did.
