2 of 3 suspects in Worcester slaying arraigned

WORCESTER (AP) — Prosecutors say three suspects involved in a Worcester home invasion that left one man dead and two women seriously injured were after drugs, money and jewelry.

Two of the suspects arrested over the weekend in connection with the May 12 attack pleaded not guilty at their arraignment Monday.

The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/KZZYzT ) reports that Jose Marrero-Rodriguez, charged with murder, was held without bail.

His sister, Barbara Marrero-Rodriguez, accused of lying to police and facing gun charges, was held on $500,000 bail.

The alleged ringleader, Noel Inoa, was arrested in New York and will be arraigned when he returns to Massachusetts.

Police were drawn to the home when the baby of one of the female victims was found in a car seat in the middle of the street unharmed.
