HAVERHILL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two mosquitoes in the City of Haverhill have tested positive for the West Nile virus.
The mosquitoes were found in the upper North Avenue area and near an animal shelter on Primrose Street.
The mayor has ordered sprayings as a precaution in those areas at 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
All outdoor recreation activities for both the schools and recreation department have been rescheduled so nothing happens between dusk and dawn.
