2 men shot in running car in Brockton

BROCKTON (AP) — Authorities are still looking for suspects in a double slaying in Brockton, a crime the district attorney calls a "brazen act of violence."

Police say Tashawn Leslie and Tyerelle Baker, both 23 and both of Brockton, were found fatally shot inside their running car in the northern end of the city just after 4 p.m. Saturday. Leslie was in the driver's seat and Baker was in the front passenger's seat with his window rolled down.

Both had been shot in the chest. Both were taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.

District Attorney Timothy Cruz says of Sunday night no suspects had been identified and no motive disclosed.

Authorities are seeking the public's help in solving the case.
