2 arrested on gun and drug charges after motor vehicle stop in Auburn

AUBURN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A traffic stop led to gun and drug charges for some people in Auburn on Wednesday.

At around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, police pulled over a GMC Envoy for various violations. After a search of the SUV, police found two firearms, several plastic bags filled with a rock like substance believed to be cocaine and a brownish powder substance police think was heroin. They also found $2,816 that police believe was involved in narcotic sales.

The people in the vehicle were arrested and held pending their arraignment Thursday..
