2 arrested in attempted sexual assaults at Bristol Community College

FALL RIVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two suspects have been arrested for their alleged connection to the attempted sexual assault of two Bristol Community College students.

Ruddy Joseph, 22, of Fall River, was arrested on a warrant Saturday. He is charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over.

McKenzy F. Blanc, 24, was arrested just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday at his home in Fall River. He is charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 and over, lewd and wanton lascivious conduct, intimidating a witness or misleading police.

School officials say the suspects remained in police custody Monday. Their arrests stem from two sexual assault attempts that reportedly took place on Feb. 6.

Investigators allege one incident took place in the cafeteria on the Fall River campus. The other reportedly occurred off campus, but both parties met on campus.

An investigation into the allegations remains ongoing. Anyone with information should contact BCC Campus Police at 508.678.2811, ext. 2218.
